Metal Gear Solid was one of the few games to make use of the pressure sensitive buttons-you'd actually half-press a button to raise your weapon to take someone hostage, or press it all the way to fire off a shot. The PS2's DualShock 2 and the PS3's Dualshock 3 shared a unique feature that no modern controllers have to my knowledge: analog face buttons. Then I had to fiddle with the emulator settings to get it running well. Ripping the PS2 disc was easy enough, though I had to dig a USB disc drive out of storage to do it.
